Notes
A percent-encoding method used to represent multibyte characters that cannot be used directly in a URI.
Each byte is represented as (XX is hexadecimal).%XX
Mode
Choose one of three modes.
| Auto | Automatically detects URL-encoded text vs plain text and converts accordingly. |
|---|---|
| Encode | Treats the input as plain text and tries to convert to percent-encoding. |
| Decode | Treats the input as percent-encoded text and tries to decode to plain text. |
Encode
- Encodes based on UTF-8.
- Fully encodes reserved URI characters '#$&+,/:;=?@'.
- The result may no longer function as a URI.

Encode (preserve URI)
- Encodes based on UTF-8.
- Does not encode reserved URI characters '#$&+,/:;=?@', so it is a partial encoding.
- Preserves URI functionality.

Decode
- Decodes based on UTF-8.
